The Norway Speedway/Dickinson County Racing Association recently held our 57th Annual Awards Banquet at the Island Resort & Casino in Harris, MI. The Master of Ceremonies was Dickinson County Racing Association President John Ostermann. The invocation was led by DCRA board member and Norway Speedway Hall of Fame member Joe Testolin. The awards started off by recognizing 37-year Dickinson County Racing Association member Bob Wells, 49-year member & Hall of Famer Mark Miller, and 49-year member & Hall of Famer Bruce White. These three contrasted the theme of the banquet as much praise was given to the youth of the Dickinson County Racing Association all of which are being led or mentored by the families of the long-time members. The track thanked volunteers Lia Olson and Jim Chartre. The Speedway safety crew and employees were recognized and thanked. Norway Speedway’s great contingency of sponsors was also recognized.
